CEO Hwang Dong-soo of MONITECH Co., Ltd., was honored with the Commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) at the '5th Welding Day Commemorative Ceremony', held on October 30, 2025, at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do.

This prestigious government award recognizes individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the innovation and advancement of Korea’s welding industry. It highlights Monitech’s leadership in developing smart welding technologies and its continuous efforts to enhance industrial efficiency and modernization.

The 5th Welding Day Ceremony, jointly hosted by the Korea Welding Industry Cooperative Federation and the Korean Welding and Joining Society, was held under the theme “Smart Welding: The Heart of Future Manufacturing.”

Honorable guests included:

More than 200 representatives from industry, academia, and research institutions attended the ceremony to discuss cooperation and future directions for the advancement of Korea’s welding sector.
